Problem: Coke Music wanted to engage young consumers by providing a music outlet no one had seen before.
Solution: Maxx went to the drawing board and started a 3 part series of sketches and white board ideas. After many iterations a headphone set that also doubled as speakers won the hearts of the focus groups.
Results: Try finding these headphones on-line, and you can't. The social buzz that these created sold them out, and now they are an item of lore.
We refined the design in 3D, added a few modifications and the client and research base loved them.
Our inital brainstorm included all variations of music devices, but the inside out headset stuck out.
The final product was born.. and in the burgeoning age of sharing, this was a product that screamed to the masses.
